What Is Sling Drift?
Sling Drift is a fast-paced, one-touch car drifting game by Tastypill, LLC (released 2019). You control a car on an endless winding track. You can’t steer normally – instead, the car latches onto pivot poles on each corner to swing (sling) around the bend. Time your drift right and you stay on the road; mistime it and you crash.

Goal: Drift around endless corners without crashing – score as high as you can
Best for: Quick sessions, reflex training, “one more try” gameplay
How to Play (Controls)
One action controls everything – timing is the whole game.
PC: Hold Space, Left Mouse Click, or Left Arrow / Right Arrow to drift
Mobile / Tablet:Tap and hold the screen to drift
Drift: Hold as you enter a corner – the car attaches to the pole and swings around
Release: Let go at the right moment to straighten out and shoot down the next straight
Rule of thumb: Hold into the turn, release out of it. Too early = wide and off-track. Too late = you overshoot and crash.
How Scoring & Fever Mode Work
Score: You earn points for every corner cleared – the longer your run, the higher your score
Coins / gems: Collected during runs, used to unlock new cars
Fever Mode: Nail 3 perfect drifts in a row to trigger it (screen flashes white). It boosts your run and stays active as long as you keep landing clean turns – one mistake ends it
Score benchmarks:
Beginner: under 100
Solid: 300–600
Advanced: 1,000+
Reported high scores: 1,500–2,400+
Tips to Drift Better
Watch the next pole, not your car – react to what’s coming, not where you are
Short taps on tight turns, longer holds on wide ones – match hold length to corner angle
Stay center-track to collect more coins and keep clean lines
Chain perfect turns to enter and hold Fever Mode for a higher score
Don’t panic on speed – the track speeds up as you progress; rhythm beats reaction-spamming
Practice timing over speed – consistency wins runs, not aggression
