What Is Carrom?
A classic South Asian board game played on a square wooden board with 4 corner pockets.
2 players (or 4 in team mode) take turns flicking a striker to pocket their colored discs.

Carrom Rules (Quick Reference)
Your discs: Pocket all 9 of your colored pieces before your opponent.
The Queen: Red disc in the center – worth the most points. You must cover it by pocketing one of your own discs on the same turn or immediately after.
Turn order: Players alternate turns. You get an extra turn only if you pocket one of your own discs.
Opponent’s disc: Pocketing an opponent’s disc is a foul – the disc returns to the board.
Striker in pocket: Foul. One of your pocketed discs comes back to the center.
Board leave: If your striker or a disc leaves the board, it is placed back at the center.
Scoring System
Each disc pocketed: 1 point per piece
Queen: 3 points (only counted if you win the board)
Win condition: The player who pockets all their discs first wins the board. Match is typically played to 25 points across multiple boards.
💡 If you pocket the Queen but lose the board, the Queen’s points go to your opponent.
How to Control the Striker
Desktop / Laptop:
Click and drag on the striker to aim.
Release to shoot – drag distance controls shot power.

Release finger to fire.

Winning Strategy & Tips
Aim for clusters: Hit groups of discs in one shot to create multiple pocketing chances.
Cover the Queen early: Pocket the Queen as soon as you have pieces in play to cover it – don’t leave it for last.
Defensive play: If ahead, position your striker to block easy shots for your opponent.
Bank shots: Use the board edges (cushions) to reach discs blocked by your opponent.
Don’t rush the striker: Take time to set the exact angle – one misshot can give your opponent the advantage.
Practice free shots: In solo mode, repeat the same angle repeatedly to build muscle memory.
